Toggl timer for Android – beta version is now available!

For all our users running Android: we have released a brand new application for your phone!

The timer is currently in beta stage and if you want to take a look at it, try it out and help us find bugs, then you can grab it here:

UPDATE: The application does not support Google signin at the moment. In the meantime, while we implement support for it, you can use your Toggl password. It was sent to your inbox when you registered with your Google account.

UPDATE #2 @ July 7th: We uploaded a new version that includes landscape mode, Google login and a few bugfixes!

  1. Been using it for some days now, it’s just great. I’ve found no bugs or issues, however I agree that making it look like the web Timer, the iGoogle widget, or something more like that, would be awesome.

  2. When I create a new task from the app, the task description is not saved !! It saves the task with empty description.

    Hope you fix it.

  3. Also, it would be really handy to be able to set up some settings. Like how many times a day it syncs.

    Otherwise, good work, anxious to see the final!

    PS I’m on a HTC Desire w/ 2.1

  4. Perfect, finally! Am testing it now, looks good — although I’m not a fan of the interface, some space is wasted now. Can’t it look like the new web Timer?

  5. Worked great on 2.1, (Moto Droid) When I upgraded to 2.2 Froyo (still Moto Droid) I get a force quit when I try to login with my non google password. Perhaps this could be a bug with my unofficial 2.2 upgrade, but just thought I’d point it out.
