(April Fool’s joke) Toggl Reaches Historic Agreement With NSA

Update: This was an April Fool’s prank. The information below has nothing to do with reality.

Toggl’s priority for its customers has always been data security and service availability. Today, we are proud to announce that an agreement has been reached with the NSA to allow Toggl users to be the very first to tap into the vast potential of the cloud computing platform that only the NSA resources can offer – with NSA Hosting.

Beginning July 4, 2014, this historic agreement will take force, and Toggl users will begin to enjoy the world’s finest network infrastructure, the best technical specialists, and the fastest links available.

The agreement makes it possible for Toggl users to benefit from the NSA infrastructure which sits idle much of the time. This is not so different than what happened at Amazon when they discovered that their customers behaved cyclically. To exploit the unused network resource, they created the first cloud platform, Amazon Web Services.

NSA state-of-the art data centers around the world will provide vast resources which will be first utilized by Toggl, whose users should reap huge cost efficiencies, while at the same time mitigating risks and dangers in the cyberworld. And, with NSA Hosting, you’ll never need to worry again about backing up your data.

Some issues of accessibility of data still remain to be ironed out with the NSA, but these are minor issues.

  1. I was thinking in the first half that there must be an Estonian company called NSA even if it was a bad choice of name.

But by the second half I figured that it was possibly still 1st April in some parts of the world.

  2. Great news! And since the NSA already know everything about me, they can start my Toggl timer for me!
