New integration added: Planner!

Oh my. You’ve found an older blog post. But Planner is still alive and is now called Teamweek!

 

Hello all,

The long-awaited integration with Planner is finally here! You can find it under Settings – Integration:

This is how it looks in TogglThe instructions are also displayed above, but in a nutshell you have to fill in your Planner account name and the API token (found under My Profile in Planner). Automatic sync is optional.

What will be synchronized?

  • Team members, clients and projects are imported from Planner.
  • Team members, clients and projects are exported to Planner (effectively keeping the two lists in sync between two applications).
  • Sub-tasks in Planner become (planned) tasks in Toggl; this works in both ways.

Please note that the first time you sync, it might take a couple of minutes to complete, depending on the amount of tasks. And archived projects will not get synced, in case you were wondering.

      Looks like this older announcement got out of the cage and into the webapp somehow 🙂 But “Planner” was the old name for Teamweek.com, and that one is still very much alive and kicking!

  2. @Katrina : I agree with your opinion on Toggle. Likewise Talygen also integrate with your business system perfectly without any compatibility issues.

  3. Well, this integration will put toggl on the top of time tracking tools list as no other time tracking tool compete with this except talygen. Talygen putting some great features which time tracking users can’t ignore like me.

  4. Works great, but the export of team members from Toggl to Planner is a bit weird. I don’t want my whole company in Planner, just the technicians and the planner himself (me). In Toggl on the other hand, we have time reports for the whole company group. Any way to get a deactivation checkbox for that?

    Great products other than that, just signed up! Looking forward to years of tracking and planning 😉
