Keyboard shortcuts and Toggl updates

Toggl has updated again!

In addition to the feature that notifies you when a new Blog post has been published, there are a couple of other improvements to make your time tracking even simpler and faster:

1) Keyboard shortcuts. You can now use keyboard shortcuts to quickly start, end or continue your time entries. They are currently available on the web and in Mobile Toggl, but they will also be coming for Toggl Desktop.

2) Home page sidebar is now more compact, without excess information or too much text.

3) You need to make one click less when you start tracking time, because the cursor is now automatically in the correct field, ready to be edited, when you open your Home page.

  1. A simple update request: Please put the year in the date for reports of time entries. (or at least an option to toggle it.)

Overall – love the product and happy to give you my $5 a month.

  2. Thanks for the update, but I noticed something weird. It might be unrelated, but I draw your attention to it: now, I cannot edit tasks appearing in the main task window of the web version. Any change I make to a prerecorded entry is not taken into account, whereas it used to be possible to edit a previously entered entry.

  3. Well done!

Would be a nice touch if list of shortcuts appeared when one pressed the “?” key (Gmail does this as you probably know)

    Thanks for a great product
