[7:30 UTC] The operations team confirmed the service is now up for 15 minutes. Sorry for any inconvenience caused! We are still cautiously monitoring the progress and getting information from hosting provider.

[7:20 UTC] Main database connectivity restored, bringing up supportive services and monitoring; provider has still issues with networking.

[7:04 UTC] Preparing to cycle machines to recover database and connectivity.

[6:50 UTC] We’re experiencing downtime right now. It’s related to critical security updates in infra. The service provider is restarting the machines and we are monitoring the situation.

  1. Please make a page for technical issues to be auto-redirected to when the site is offline… In this case we don’t have to try for 15minutes to check if it is related to the local pc/network or Toggl itself..

    But thanks for bringing back the service online so quickly !

    Was wondering, why don’t you put up a status page at, like practically every service does nowadays?

    It’s very important to be able to go to a single source of information in situations such as this, instead of having to search through your website, social network accounts etc. to find news about downtime.

  4. iti s incredibly frustrating that my time tracker is wasting my time. if you would have sent a notice i would not have had to wrestle with the system for so long.
