Desktop 4.0 – Welcome!

  1. Hi Toggl,

I just downloaded the latest version of Toggl for Mac and noticed two things:
1: The resolution of the dock icon is super low if you compare it to the other icons. I have attached an image for your reference: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/zighs270qtibgh5/2013-10-09 at 12.37 .png
2: The new version isn’t displaying the time next to the icon in the menu bar. Is that a setting?

Is it possible to download an earlier version that fixes/has the above so I can downgrade?

  2. Downloaded the last version. Not working for me. It crashes continuously .

    Here the crash report:

  3. I just downloaded the new Toggl desktop app and notice it seems to track all activity on my computer automatically. I can’t find any documentation on this. Can this be shut-off?

  4. Latest version (6.18 on OS X) is good, but it does not show time in the upper menu area as it did in the older version – so I had to roll back to older version.

See http://d.pr/i/FPI3 (4:31 h in front of Toggl icon at the screenshot)

Any plans to add elapsed time just it was in the old Toggl desktop?

(I’m talking about OS X version)

    Thank you!

  5. I dig this page, but having said that I was wondering if your company would want to look at getting your blog re-design? Go to my contact page if you’d like to talk about a website update and I’d be happy to help.

  6. @Victor Wihlborg: Same thing happened to me on my Windows 8 system – the Toggl application was missing a top bar (with close, maximize, minimize, etc.) when I initially ran the app. But after closing and restarting, it worked fine.

  7. […] Toggl Desktop 4 – brand new design, faster and more stable time tracking compared to its predecessors. […]

  8. Thanks for the updates! This is working great for me and does everything I need for a desktop version; no fluff.. if I need more, I can just log into the online version right? 🙂
