You may have noticed a bit of server downtime this morning. That was intentional and allowed us to make larger upgrades.
Things that got done:

server software upgrade which will enhance Toggl‘s performance;
new design for the public page;
improved Basecamp import – better handling of huge imports;
“remember me” functionality for the Widget and the web;
better offline handling for [...]

We recently updated our backup system. Now Toggl makes full backup of the data in every 3 hours. Data is encrypted and stored in multiple independent locations. We’re hard at work to keep your time safe

We’re beefing up the processing power of Toggl backend tomorrow. It may happen that there will be some downtime – we’re trying to make it as short as possible.
