Thanks, that looks good. Quick feedback: it opens much faster than the mobile site in a browser and seems generally more responsive. I noticed, however, that it uses a lot of cpu when the timer is running, even when the app is in the background.
I agree with Mootoh. I guess that the new app isn’t optimized for Android 4.0. That’s why it behaves with lags and animation bugs. As for CPU usage, I don’t have such statistics, but I can clearly see that the app uses more than 40Mb which is superfluous for that kind of apps.
@Mootoh @Victor @Koen R Thanks for the feedback! We’ll take a look at the 4.0 issue. As for the UI, then it’s HTML5 and the same for iOS and Toggl Desktop. That’s why it’s not directly compliant with Android design guidelines.
Just a quick opinion: The toggl app has been extremly slow for me when updating the tasks. Using your website via my browser on my galaxy tab is much better. All in all I find the app quite unnecessary.
Alari, does it make any sense to make an app that almost equals to the web-based version? Now, I have to continue using the HTML version because it works faster and is more reliable.

Well, I installed it directly from Android market and all are same (old). I cannot find anything from new version:-(
Great app, was waiting.
@Pavel: the old version is also still on the market. Best use the link above to get to the correct version.
Looks like some UI assets are missing in the new version.

Great to have a new version of the Toggl app, unfortunately it doesn’t work that well under Android 4.0.
Furthermore perhaps you can take a look at the official android guidelines for UI: http://developer.android.com/design/patterns/index.html
It now looks a bit like a iOs-ripoff….

Hey,
Just a quick opinion: The toggl app has been extremly slow for me when updating the tasks. Using your website via my browser on my galaxy tab is much better. All in all I find the app quite unnecessary.
Nice! Long email address (mine) don’t scroll horizontally, so it was a struggle to get it right when I first entered it.
I like the layout of the toggl app, however I do not find a new widget for this app – is this coming as well??

+1 on the widget. Also, I am not seeing a notification icon when a timer is running. Any chance of this coming back?
