The problem just went away. I was still able to use the timer with the toggl desktop. I just put in my clients and tasks via the webpage and then set the timer using the desktop version.

But, since this the problem has been resolved and I can use the time via the webpage if I prefer. I didn't do anything to fix it, it repaired itself.

Have to say this website has been a lifesaver. I had too many things on my brain to efficiently time myself for jobs. Clicking a little button is effortless. Thanks!

Michael and Louise, the "busy script" bug is a new bug that appeared with yesterday's launch. It has already been fixed.

The fix didn't work for me in Firefox 3.6 for Linux. There was no "line that said 'www.toggl.com'" to remove, though.

I can use the nano timer but the classic hangs with the "busy script" prompt.

I'm having this issue now and I followed the above instructions, including clearing the cache and it's still not working. Receiving this message:

"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: https://www.toggl.com/assets/timer.js:317"

It continues loading even when I click "Stop Script."

It worked, I just had to quit and restart Firefox. It looks like the time in my Toggl Timer Widget isn't there. Am I going to have to add it manually?

Don't know if the cache thing was it, but now it seems to work better. However, the timer is still a lot slower that it was in earlier Toggl versions.

@Karl & Antti - If removing offline storage did not help then I would try clearing the regular cache too. You can also try switching timers (the selection is under "My settings") to see if others work. Let me know what happens!

Didn't work for me either. Problems are still existing. I think this is a very serious issue. Right now I can't get the timer to work at all.
